Speccy is just a much more simple way to get this information than having to go to special locations in Windows to get the same type of information.
Normally, this basic information is enough to give to your friends, technical people, or anybody that is interested in knowing what your computer is running on. It will even pull driver information from your computer and sensor information from the sensors on your hardware so you will know the temperature of the hardware to make sure you know the hardware is running safely cool enough to run the tasks you would like to run on your computer.įrom the summary tab, you can get all of the basic information of the hardware that your computer is running on right off the bat without having to go through all of the tabs individually to get this information.
This software will give you detailed information of the hardware that your computer is running on. When you do not feel like dealing with "dxdiag" to get the information you want, you can use applications like Speccy. Sometimes the information that Windows gives you of the hardware that you are running is just not detailed enough.
